Hello,

It has been clear that Google has been up to something in the power grid space since their partnership with GE. What does Google bring to the table? Now Google.org announces Google's PowerMeter.

The announcement is a bit sketchy on the technical details. They are collecting, organizing and making electric usage information useful to people.
